Jayhawks set to host Bears on Tuesday

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas softball is set to host their third fall ball exhibition match of the year on Tuesday (Sept. 24) against Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC) at Arrocha Ballpark at 5 p.m.

The Jayhawks enter the matchup 2-0 in their fall ball season after defeating both Seminole State and Johnson County.

Offensive Firepower

KU put on an offensive show in their last outing, defeating Johnson County 28-2. The Jayhawks finished the game with 12 players who drove in at least one run. The team was led by senior Sam Dellinger who knocked in five runs after hitting two home runs in the contest.

This will be the Jayhawks’ third game of their fall ball season. KU has five more games scheduled in the fall following the conclusion of Tuesday’s contest to get them prepared for their regular season in the spring.
