The sixth-annual Kansas Classic will take place Friday, Nov. 16 – Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, at the Capitol Federal Natatorium at Hummer Sports Park in Topeka, Kansas. The meet will follow the NCAA Championship meet format. Events will be circle seeded for the preliminary heats with the top-three heats making it back to the finals in the 500-yard freestyle and 400-yard individual medley; the top-four heats in all 100- and 200-yard races; and the top-five heats in the 50-yard freestyle. The fastest heat of the 1,650-yard freestyle will be swum during finals. All other heats will be swum fastest to slowest at the end of the prelims. Only the top-two finishing relays are scored per team. All relays will be swum as timed finals.
