Kansas Concludes Play at June Stewart Invite
NASHVILLE, Tenn.— Kansas freshmen Luniuska Delgado and Vasiliki Karvouni ended the weekend on a high note, collecting three wins on the final day of competition in Nashville. The pair combined for an overall 5-1 singles record and 2-1 doubles performance.
In the first session, the pair competed separately in singles action when Karvouni defeated Middle Tennessee State 6-3, 7-6 (4). Delgado followed suit after a three-set triumph over MTSU (4-6, 6-3, 6-2).
Doubles continue to be positive for the Jayhawks as Karvouni and Delgado dominated over their opponent, MTSU, in 8-3 conquest.
UP NEXT
Kansas will split its squad in its last two tournaments of the fall season as they head to UNLV and Arizona State Nov. 8-10.
