Kansas Finishes Day Two
NASHVILLE, Tenn.β Kansasβ Luniuska Delgado and Vasiliki Karvouni each won their respective matches, combining for a 3-0 record on the day.
Karvouni and Delgado began the day with singles play versus Princeton. Karvouni finished first defeating her opponent in straight-sets (6-0, 6-2) while Delgado capped off the morning with a 6-1, 6-2 victory over Princeton.
Teaming up for doubles, the two freshmen bested Vanderbilt with a convincing 8-2 mark.
KU will finish out the rest of the tournament on Sunday at 10 a.m. CT with singles matches followed by doubles at 1 p.m. The second round of singles will begin immediately after doubles.
All matches will be on the outdoor courts.
