Kansas knocks off Central Missouri 14-3
LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas softball won their fifth fall ball game of the year on Thursday, knocking off Central Missouri 14-3 inside Arrocha Ballpark.
The Jayhawks and Mules were in a back-and-forth affair all the way up to the sixth inning with both teams tied at 3-3. However, KU erupted in the innings to following, putting up 12 runs in the final four innings. Junior Tarin Travieso and freshman Peyton Renzi put their stamps on the game with both smashing three-run home runs on the night.
Sophomore Lexy Mills had another solid outing on the mound, finishing with six strikeouts in just two innings of play.

Kansas will host Butler Community College for their next fall game on October 8. The game is set to begin at 5 p.m. at Arrocha Ballpark.
