Kansas rowing announces fall schedule for the 2019-20 season

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas women’s rowing team announced its fall slate for the 2019-20 season and will celebrate 25 years of rowing as a program at KU.

The Jayhawks will travel down to Oklahoma City to compete in the Head of the Oklahoma Oct. 5-6. The event will span across two days and will feature the night sprints on Oct. 5.

Following the Head of the Oklahoma, KU will host the seventh annual Jayhawk Jamboree on Sunday, Oct. 20. The event will celebrate 25 years of rowing at KU at the Kansas River and fans will be able to join to enjoy food, music and see the Jayhawks in action.

Wrapping up the fall season, the Jayhawks will head back to the panhandle state to race in the Tulsa Fall Invite in Catoosa, Oklahoma, Nov. 1-2.

With winter setting in, the KU rowers will spend Jan. 10-18 in Tampa, Florida, to train in preparation for the spring season.
