Kansas Set To Compete in Tulsa Fall Invite

CATOOSA, Ok. – In the last regatta of the fall season, the Kansas rowing team will travel to Catoosa, Oklahoma, to compete in the Tulsa Fall Invite starting on Friday, Nov. 1, and conclude on Saturday, Nov. 2.

"We are excited to line up against a few teams we saw in our first fall competition. Our team has improved technically on the water and we hope to see that progress displayed in our racing this weekend. "

The Jayhawks will start with six boats in the Varsity 4+ at 2:45 p.m. against boats from Tulsa and SMU. Then Kansas will conclude the first day with the Novice 8+ at 3:15 p.m. against SMU.

On the final day, Kansas will compete in one race. The Jayhawks will send six boats to compete against Tulsa, SMU and Central Oklahoma at 8:45 a.m. in the Varsity 8+
