Kansas Softball Alters Rock Chalk Challenge Slate
LAWRENCE, Kan. – During the sixth weekend of the 2016 season, Kansas softball will host No. 22 Minnesota, UMKC, Tulsa and Saint Louis for the Rock Chalk Challenge March 18-20 at Rock Chalk Park.
Kansas has altered the lineup for the non-conference round-robin tournament to accommodate team travel. The Jayhawks open the weekend against the No. 22 Gophers on Friday, March 18 at 2 p.m., and will face UMKC 30 minutes following the conclusion of the contest against Minnesota.
On Saturday, KU will now play Saint Louis at 4:30 p.m. and conclude the weekend on Sunday, March 20 against Tulsa at 2 p.m. All four of KU’s game will air on the Jayhawk Radio Network and will be streamed live through KUAthletics.com/radio. The Jayhawks first game of the Rock Chalk Challenge against Minnesota will be broadcast on the Jayhawk Television Network.
