LAWRENCE, Kan. — During the 2018 season, Kansas softball will make eight TV appearances and feature comprehensive online audio streaming coverage for the fourth-straight season.

The Jayhawk Television Network (JTV), powered by Spectrum Sports, will televise four KU home games, starting with the Jayhawks’ home opener against UMKC on March 8. The remaining JTV telecasts at Rock Chalk Park include Western Illinois (March 15), KU’s Big 12 home opener against Oklahoma State (April 6), and Texas Tech (April 27).

Lifetime Jayhawk Jill Dorsey-Hall will provide analysis for all four JTV telecasts, while play-by-play coverage will be split by Jimmy Chavez (March 8, March 15) and Lief Lisec (April 6, April 27).

Additional road games on TV include Longhorn Network’s airing of the three-game series between Kansas and Texas, March 23-25, and FOX Sports Southwest Plus’s telecast of KU’s road contest against 2017 Women’s College World Series participant Baylor, April 20.

In a partnership with KU’s William Allen White School of Journalism and Mass Communication, KUAthletics.com will provide live video streaming of eight home games. The student-produced coverage begins on March 28 as the Jayhawks face SIUE in a midweek tilt, followed by all three games in the Colorado State series, March 30-31. The online video coverage continues into Big 12 play with two games of the Oklahoma State series, April 7-8, and two games of the Texas Tech series, April 28-29.
