Kansas tennis returns to the top-10
LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Kansas Jayhawks are ranked No. 10 in Tuesday’s Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s (ITA) poll.
After being idle this past weekend, KU jumped two spots from last week’s (March 5) ranking of No. 12. In its last competition, March 3, the Jayhawks won at Oregon, recording their fourth sweep of the season. Two days prior to that, KU was edged, 4-3, by then-No. 22 Washington, which jumped all the way to No. 7.
Prior to its No. 12 ranking last week, KU had spent the previous week at No. 7, tying the program’s highest-ever ranking (with the 1994 Jayhawks).
