QUOTABLE

Head coach Mark Francis

“In the first half, we didn’t adjust well the first 20 minutes to the pressure Nebraska put on us. The last 20 to 25 minutes of the first half we put some really strong possessions together and created several opportunities.

The second half was a different story. We made some adjustments at halftime and played through their pressure very well. We created numerous opportunities and probably could have had 4-5 goals off of good chances that we had. We were happy to get the win after Nebraska tied the game in the second half. A good performance overall and I’m very happy with the group at this point as we finish out the spring this next week.”
