KU Soccer takes part in Fall Sports Media Day

Junior Grace HaganLAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas head soccer coach Mark Francis discussed his 2017 squad at length during the fall sport media day, which combined the Kansas volleyball, cross country and soccer programs. Francis discussed all aspects of the team that returns six starters and adds eight newcomers this season. Following opening statements and a question and answer session for the coach, now in his 19th season at the helm at KU, the solid media turnout broke into groups to interview student-athletes.
 
The Jayhawks open their 2017 season this Friday, Aug. 18 versus Nebraska at Rock Chalk Park.
