Ticket Packages Available for the 2015 Maui Invitational Through Williams Education Fund

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas men’s basketball will participate in the 2015 Maui Invitational, held on the island of Maui, Hawaii, Nov. 23-25. KU Athletics’ Williams Education Fund will be selling a limited number of travel packages to the event starting Feb. 6.
 
Joining KU in the 2015 Maui Invitational will be Indiana, St. John’s, UCLA, UNLV, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest. The event will be held at the Lahaina Civic Center in Maui.
 
The Williams Education Fund is selling a limited number of travel packages to its members through Sports Entertainment & Travel (SET) and Travellers, Inc. This will mark the sixth time the Jayhawks will compete in the Maui Invitational with the last in 2011, where they finished runner-up in a close battle against the Duke Blue Devils (61-68). Kansas advanced to the Final Four and national title game later that year. Overall, the Jayhawks are 10-6 overall in the Maui Invitational and won the 1996 tournament, when KU All-American Raef LaFrentz earned Tournament MVP honors.
