KU to host three teams in campus round of Hoophall Miami Invitational

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. – Kansas will host Texas Southern, Oakland and Toledo in the campus round games of the third annual Hoophall Miami Invitational, the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame announced Wednesday.

The NCAA multi-team event will feature round-robin play of five teams in the two weeks leading up to the main event in Miami with Kansas and Syracuse serving as host sites.

Kansas will play Texas Southern in Allen Fieldhouse on Tuesday, Nov. 21. Later that week on Friday, Nov. 24, following Thanksgiving Day, KU will host Oakland. Toledo will come to Lawrence on Tuesday, Nov. 28. 

As previously announced, the Hoophall Miami Invitational at American Airlines Arena will serve as the culmination of the campus round games. The one-day doubleheader held on Saturday, Dec. 2, will feature a matchup of perennial powerhouses Kansas and Syracuse, as well as local-favorite Miami versus reigning Ivy League Champion Princeton.

Tickets for the Hoophall Miami Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 2, are available via Ticketmaster and the American Airlines Arena box office.
