Kansas rowing to host Prospect Day Jan. 26

LAWRENCE, Kan. — The doors of the University of Kansas Boathouse will open to those interested in joining the team, as Kansas women’s rowing hosts Prospect Day on Saturday, Jan. 26, starting at 11:30 a.m.

The event is open to juniors and seniors in high school that are interested in the sport of rowing. The day will start off with a tour of the boathouse, followed by a 90-minute program to learn more about KU rowing.

The meeting will be hosted by members of the Kansas rowing coaching staff to discuss opportunities such as life as a NCAA Division I student-athlete and the walk-on experience that Kansas Athletics offers.

Date: Saturday, January 26th
Location: KU Boathouse, 200 Indiana St.
Open Tour: 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Program: 12- 1:30 p.m.
