Rankings update: Volleyball ranked 12th in AVCA Coaches Poll

LEXINGTON, Ky. – In the 10th AVCA Coaches Poll of the regular season released on Monday, Kansas volleyball is ranked No. 12.

The Jayhawks (19-4, 8-2 Big 12) have been ranked for 41-straight AVCA polls, including 39-straight with at least a top-15 ranking.

Kansas has played seven matches against current top-25 teams this season with wins over No. 6 Kentucky, No. 19 Iowa State, No. 22 Purdue and No. 24 Baylor.

Four of the Big 12’s nine teams are ranked in the top-25 this week — No. 12 Kansas, No. 3 Texas and No. 19 Iowa State and No. 24 Baylor.

Kansas is also ranked No. 12 in the fifth release of the NCAA Ratings Percentage Index (RPI).

KU returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 4 at TCU. First serve from Fort Worth, Texas, is scheduled for 2 p.m.
