MANDI DUGGAN

Freshman Mandi Duggan netted her second goal in as many games, giving the Jayhawks a 1-0 win over Colorado Friday night at Rock Chalk Park and improving the team to a 2-1 start through its first three games of the season. Both Jayhawk victories of the 2016 season were decided by a single goal and both were scored by Duggan, an Aurora, Colorado native.
 

ZOE HILL

Zoe Hill, a freshman middle blocker for the Jayhawks, recorded 14 kills during the Jayhawks’ sweep of the Bulldog Invitational this past weekend in Mississippi. Hill attended Glenda Dawson High School in the Houston area. In 2015, she was an all-state performer, putting her on the Adidas All-American Watch List. Along with these accolades, Hill was named the 2015 Offensive Player of the Year at Glenda Dawson and holds a school-record 300 career blocks.
  

KATIE MCCLURE

Katie McClure, a freshman from Wichita, netted her first career goal on Sunday in a 1-1 draw against South Dakota State. She was a four-time letterwinner for head coach Jay Holmes at Maize High School and broke the school record for career goals (110) and most goals scored in a single season (52). In 2016, she led the team to a third-place finish in the Kansas 5A State Championships and earned first team all-state honors.

MADISON RIGDON

Madison Rigdon, a junior outside hitter from Pflugerville, Texas, was named the Bulldog Invitational MVP after opening the event with 14 kills in a straight-set win over host Mississippi State on Friday and finishing the weekend with seven aces, 1.67 digs per set and 2.78 kills per set on a .333 hitting percentage. Her impressive tournament run has helped the Jayhawks start the season 3-0 and keep their number five national ranking.
