Reese Randall Bowling

BOWL THEM OVER – Sophomore running back Reese Randall and his Jayhawk teammates enjoyed an afternoon of bowling after the KU football team reported on Wednesday, August 3. With a month to ready for the season-opening matchup with Rhode Island on Saturday, September 3, the day’s fun quickly turned to practices the next day.

Chase Harrell Drenched with Ice Water

HURTS SO GOOD – Freshman receiver Chase Harrell winced as water from a towel soaked in ice water was rung out over his head during a break in KU’s first football practice on Thursday, August 4. With temperatures reaching 97 degrees, the relief the ice water provided proved to be worth any pain.

KU Football Videographer in a Lift

IN THE ACTION – From his high perch in a lift at the south end of Memorial Stadium, a KU football videographer seemed to be right in the action projected onto the video board during the Jayhawks’ practice as part of Fan Appreciation Day on Saturday, August 20.

Jacky Dezir Defensive Line Drill

POWERING UP – From his knees, junior defensive tackle Jacky Dezir used his power to lift a blocking sled on Saturday, August 20 as the KU football team continued their preparations for the season-opening game on Saturday, September 3 against Rhode Island in Memorial Stadium.

Montell Cozart Signs Autograph

THE SHIRT ON HIS BACK – A young KU football fan turned to allow redshirt junior quarterback Montell Cozart to sign his shirt during an autograph session with the team on Fan Appreciation Day. Along with the autograph session, fans enjoyed watching practice and taking part in a team activity on the field in Memorial Stadium on Saturday, August 20.
