Faces of Purpose – KU baseball’s trip to the Dominican Republic was designed to give Jayhawk players the opportunity to take on some of the baseball-crazy country’s finest young players, but that was secondary to the trip’s real purpose. One look at the face of redshirt freshman Peyton Grassanovits and his new friends revealed the true goal of the trip during a charitable work visit to an elementary school in Boca Chica on Thursday, November 24.

Frank the Tank – Over the course of his career at KU, senior Frank Mason III has dazzled KU fans with his daring drives to the basket. Often those drives end with the guard picking himself up after a bone-jarring crash to the hardwood court as he did in the game against Siena on Friday, November 18. Fortunately, Mason continued to pick himself up from the court in the game against the Saints in which he scored a team-high 18 points.
