Clean Up On Aisle… – That is what junior basketball player Clay Young did by picking out a vacuum during the 20th annual KU team charity shopping spree organized by former Jayhawk player Roger Morningstar. In conjunction with the Salvation Army, Morningstar gave each player a shopping list for a family in need. Thanks to coach Bill Self’s Assists Foundation and other local charities and fundraisers, the players worked their way through the Wal-Mart on south Iowa on Thursday, December 15, to fulfill all the Christmas wishes.

Mannequin Challenge? – Just before the tipoff of the women’s basketball game against SMU on Wednesday, November 16, KU senior Caelynn Manning-Allen, referee Tina Napier and SMU sophomore Dai’ja Thomas seemed frozen in a popular mannequin challenge-like pose.
