FALL BALL – KU baseball began its fall practices with freshman infielder James Cosentino tagging out freshman outfielder Kaimana Souza-Paaluhi during a drill in Hoglund Ballpark on Tuesday, September 27.

FILM STUDY – During a personal evening film study session, senior safety Fish Smithson pointed out a key element in the passing offense of Texas Tech to freshman safety Mike Lee, sophomore linebackers Denzel Feaster and Kendall Duckworth and junior cornerback Derrick Neal in a ballroom at the team hotel in Lubbock, Texas, on Wednesday, September 28, before the Jayhawks’ game against the Red Raiders the next night.

TAPED UP – A traditional slap of hands capped the ankle taping of sophomore receiver Jeremiah Booker and every player taped by Murphy Grant, the assistant athletic director for sports medicine, in the cramped training room in the visitor’s locker room at AT&T Stadium on the campus of Texas Tech before KU took on the Red Raiders on Thursday, September 29.
