Well Done

WELL DONE – Hand-in-hand, KU swimmers Crissie Blomquist and Jenny Nusbaum quietly congratulated each other after the freshman and sophomore, respectively, finished the 1,650-yard freestyle at the Kansas Classic inside the Capitol Federal Natatorium in Topeka, Kansas, on Sunday, November 19. Nusbaum won the race and Blomquist took second to help the Jayhawks win the three-day event.

The Coach

THE COACH – KU’s David Beaty waited for the introductions of the 10 football seniors inside Memorial Stadium on Saturday, November 18, before the Jayhawks took on Oklahoma. After the final game of the season, Director of Athletics Sheahon Zenger announced Beaty would be back to coach the football team for the 2018 season.
