RIDING THE BENCH – Former KU great Bud Stallworth shook the hand of legendary men’s basketball coach Ted Owens as the two sat on the bench dedicated to Owens during a ceremony in the Booth Family Hall of Athletics inside Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday, February 3, following the game against Oklahoma State. Stallworth, who played for Owens, led fundraising efforts along with more former Owens’ players for the metal bench that will be located on the Fieldhouse’s southeast lawn near the ticket office.
