SCOUTING REPORT – KU men’s basketball assistant coach Norm Roberts ran through the scouting report on Oklahoma State for the Jayhawk players after the team’s practice on Friday, February 2, inside Allen Fieldhouse, a day before KU took on the Cowboys.

HELLO OLD FRIEND – Former coach Ted Owens warmly greeted one of the 200 basketball alums who celebrated 120 years of KU men’s basketball on the James Naismith Court inside Allen Fieldhouse at halftime of the game against Oklahoma State on Saturday, February 3.

RIDING THE BENCH – Former KU great Bud Stallworth shook the hand of legendary men’s basketball coach Ted Owens as the two sat on the bench dedicated to Owens during a ceremony in the Booth Family Hall of Athletics inside Allen Fieldhouse on Saturday, February 3, following the game against Oklahoma State. Stallworth, who played for Owens, led fundraising efforts along with more former Owens’ players for the metal bench that will be located on the Fieldhouse’s southeast lawn near the ticket office.

SHOCK AND AHH – – United States Army Specialist Dillon Croft’s surprise appearance during a Salute to Service ceremony inside Allen Fieldhouse left Croft’s wife, Nayomi, shocked and in ahh on Saturday, February 3, during the KU men’s basketball game against Oklahoma State.

OUCH – – KU junior Brianna Osorio and Texas Tech freshman Lyndsey Whilby crashed hard to the James Naismith Court inside Allen Fieldhouse while battling for a loose ball during the women’s basketball game on Wednesday, January 17.
