SOARING TO THE TITLE – KU senior Laura Taylor sailed to the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship women’s pole vault title by clearing 4.34 meters (14-2.75 ft.) on Friday, February 23, inside Iowa State’s Lied Recreation Center in Ames, Iowa.

WAY TO GO – KU’s Haley Downey looked to her cheering teammates after the sophomore tied her personal best in a preliminary heat of the 200-yard breaststroke during the Big 12 Swimming and Diving Championship inside the Lee & Joe Jamail Texas Swimming Center in Austin, Texas, on Saturday, February 24. In the evening finals, Downey broke the KU women’s school record and finished in fourth place.
