EVENING STROLL – Forced to play in late afternoon due to morning thunderstorms in Stillwater, Oklahoma, the first round of the NCAA Men’s Golf Championship for the KU team left senior Daniel Sutton walking off the 16th tee box at Karsten Creek Golf Club in the golden glow of the setting sun on Friday, May 25, with his playing partners from BYU and North Carolina. The five members of the Jayhawks’ team were forced to finish their first round on Saturday and immediately play their second round in 98-degree heat.
