Let’s take a look inside the numbers of Kansas men’s basketball.

13 – Kansas is 13-0 this season when shooting 50 percent or better from the field and 237-9 in the Bill Self era when making half or better of its shots.

14 – Kansas won its NCAA record 14th-consecutive, 18th Big 12 and NCAA-leading 61st conference regular-season championship in 2017-18.

29 – Kansas added to its own record by making its 29th-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, a mark which started in 1990. KU surpassed the previous mark of 27 held by North Carolina from 1975-2001. The Jayhawks were the 2018 Big 12 automatic qualifier by winning the conference tournament.

345 – Kansas has made a season-record 345 3-point field goals this season. The Jayhawks surpassed the previous record of 318 set by last year’s squad. KU has made at least 300 3-pointers in each of the last three seasons.

650 – Kansas head coach Bill Self won his 650th career game when the Jayhawks defeated West Virginia in the Big 12 Championship title game on March 10. In his 25th season as a head coach, Self is 650-200 overall, including 443-95 in his 15 seasons at Kansas.
