Senior guard Devonte’ Graham rolled out a pair of 35-point performances in the victories over Toledo (96-58) and Syracuse (76-60). The 35-point efforts were a career-high for Graham, who shot a combined 24-for-36 (.667) from the floor and 12-of-21 (.571) from 3-point range. He was also a perfect 10-for-10 from the foul line and added 10 assists, eight rebounds and four steals. Graham became the first Jayhawk to post back-to-back 30-point outings for the first time since Andrew Wiggins accomplished the same feat in 2014.

Freshman Kyle Rogers was the top-collegiate finisher in pole vault at Saturday’s Bob Timmons Challenge, clearing 5.06 meters (16-7.25 ft.). Rogers only trailed former Kansas standout Jake Albright, who won the event with a facility record by clearing 5.57 meters (18-3.25 ft.).

Competing in Boston, Massachusetts at the BU Season Opener, junior distance runner Sharon Lokedi broke her own school record in the 5,000-meter run, clocking in at 15:39.05 to finish fourth in the event and shave 19 seconds off her previous school record set two seasons ago at the Iowa State Classic.

Junior guard Christalah Lyons notched 37 combined points in the Jayhawks’ two wins last week to improve their season record to 7-0. In the 63-48 win over UMKC, Lyons poured in a game-high 22 points. Over the two games, Lyons shot 15-for-35 (.429) from the field and chipped in nine rebounds and assists both, along with six steals.
