QUAN HAMPTON

In just his second collegiate game, Hampton hauled in a career-best six catches and 67 receiving yards in the loss to Central Michigan. On the first Jayhawk offensive play of the game, Hampton hauled in an 18-yard pass from Peyton Bender. His longest catch of the day was for 22 yards and it came on the second touchdown scoring drive to open the second half. He also added 13 rushing yards on a carry.  
  

 

DOM WILLIAMS

With career highs in rushing yards (64) and attempts (18), Williams continued to show why he was so highly touted on signing day. With a pair of second-half touchdowns, Williams already has three scores through two games for the Jayhawks. He was only tackled behind the line of scrimmage once on the day, and had a pair of 10-plus-yard runs including a 14-yard scamper in the fourth quarter. Williams also had five catches for 42 yards.
  

 

ALLIE NELSON

In the midst of a 16-dig performance in Kansas’ four-set victory over No. 17 Purdue, Nelson made a kick save that earned her the No. 8 spot on ESPN SportsCenter’s Top-10 Plays of the Day. Nelson’s effort in the Jayhawks’ four matches last week extended beyond just one play however, as KU’s libero averaged 4.00 digs per set, which included a pair of wins over top-20 teams.
  

 

MADISON RIGDON

Despite the loss to No. 9 Creighton, Rigdon had a pretty memorable week for the Jayhawk volleyball team. With wins over No. 13 Kentucky and No. 17 Purdue, Rigdon became the 16th Kansas player to reach 1,000 career kills during the match against the Boilermakers. She ended the week with 1,023 career kills and was named to the Kansas Invitational All-Tournament Team. Rigdon notched three double-doubles and averaged 4.08 kills per set on a .342 hitting percentage in four matches during the week.
