  • Kansas rowing was edged by Oklahoma and No. 5 Texas in the Jayhawks’ second double-dual competition of the season on the Oklahoma River.
  • Wind gusts on the surface of the Oklahoma River reached as high as 20 to 30 mph, slowing the Jayhawks’ times about a minute than the normal pace.
  • KU’s Second Varsity Eight boat clocked the second-best time of all four Varsity Eight boats in the second session of the Big 12 Double Dual.
  • The Jayhawks will return to the water in two weeks, on April 23, at the Occoquan Reservoir in Virginia for the George Mason Invitational.
