RCW: Jayhawks re-connect over K Club Weekend
As part of annual tradition, The University of Kansas Homecoming also marks the dates of K Club Weekend. K Club Weekend, which took place over Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22, is a chance for student-athletes from all sports and eras of Kansas Athletics to reunite.
Events for the weekend included a golf tournament and social on Friday, followed by a Saturday tailgate and on-field recognition of student-athletes who received their letter award 50 and 25 years ago.
K Club and Kansas Athletics are proud to welcome back hundreds of former student-athletes who gave so much to the university and continue to give back to current student-athletes.
KU Leads, the Kansas Jayhawks’ student-athlete development unit, focuses on leadership training, community engagement, traditions and professional development to enhance the student-athlete experience. Within KU Leads, the Kansas K Club – the department’s letterwinners association – has the mission is to help preserve the history and traditions of Kansas Athletics, support current student-athletes, and connect former participants, coaches, student athletic trainers and managers of varsity sports at the University of Kansas.
