RCW: SAAC and KU Leads Host Shoe Drive

For the second-straight year the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee and KU Leads organized a week-long shoe drive to benefit those in the local community as well as worldwide. The 250+ pairs of shoes collected will go to two different organizations, Penn House and Soles4Souls.

Penn House is a local organization that distributes donated clothing to low-income families in need among the Lawrence community. 

Soles4Souls is a national organization which has disturbed shoes and clothing to over 127 countries across the globe since 2006. 

Service is a pillar of both KU Leads and SAAC and we would like to thank every student-athlete and Kansas Athletics staff member who participated in this year’s shoe drive.
