RCW: Teaching tradition to the next generation of Jayhawks

KU Leads and K Club hosted their annual Traditions Night on Saturday, August 20 at the Anderson Family Football Complex. This event is designed to introduce new student-athletes to K Club, KU Leads, SAAC and some of the history and traditions of Kansas Athletics. K Club Board Members, decked out in their letter jackets, greet the student-athletes as they arrive.

These former Jayhawk athletes are the living embodiment of the tradition of excellence that has been set at the University of Kansas, as the group includes Olympians, All-Americans and all-conference performers. Traditions Night also includes several videos, staff introductions and an address by Athletic Director Sheahon Zenger.

At the conclusion of the athletics program, student-athletes joined their fellow Jayhawk students in Memorial Stadium for the University Traditions Night.
