Are you University of Kansas alumni?
Yes, I graduated with a Master of Science in Education (M.S.ED.) degree from KU in 1980 (Undergraduate degree from Park College).

What is your favorite Kansas Athletics memory?
My trip to the Maui Invitational during Thanksgiving week in 2011.

Why do you support Kansas Athletics and its student-athletes?
Athletics is a morale builder for academics and sports. A good feeling about your school makes the experience more enjoyable.

What is your favorite KU tradition?
Pregame Alma Mater and the Rock Chalk Chant.

If you could describe KU in one word, what word would it be and why?
Magnificent.  The campus is beautiful, academics are of the highest caliber, and the athletics provide an exciting atmosphere.

Is there anything else you would like to tell us about yourself?
My husband, Reese, and I have been coming to KU football and basketball games since he attended KU and graduated in 1951. My high school and college years I graduated with honors and participated in basketball in high school and in college played speed ball, softball, volleyball, and basketball.

After college I enjoyed a teaching career in which I taught every grade at one time or another. When I got the chance to teach kindergarten I had found my niche and taught it for 30 years in the Shawnee Mission School District. I have three daughters and five grandchildren who all graduated from KU.

Besides attending all KU sporting events, I devote my time to the Village Presbyterian Church.  I enjoy staying fit by attending the gym five days a week and traveling all over the world.
