Answers provided by Tom Bowser

Are you University of Kansas alumni?
Yes, I graduated in 1968, and my wife, Judy, graduated in 1969.

What is your favorite Kansas Athletics memory?
Helping KU win its first Big Eight Men’s Swimming Championship in 1968. I swam in the 400-yard Freestyle Relay. We took first place in 3:10.5, which set a new Big Eight record.

What is your favorite KU tradition?
The Rock Chalk Chant.

If you could describe KU in one word, what word would it be and why?
“Life changing,” because I know it is from experience.
