2012: Junior Season
Started all 33 matches at setter after not starting in either of her previous seasons… Went on to lead the Big 12 with 1,443 assists (11.73 assists per set), which ranked seventh in the NCAA… Guided an offense that hit for a .238 team attack percentage, the fourth-best in program history… Her 1,443 assists were the most by a Jayhawk since the 1999 season… Finished the year with 11 double-doubles (digs/assists), tied for third-most in the Big 12… Broke the 40-assist mark 20 times and the 50-assist mark seven times… In her first career start, McNorton garnered 40 assists and two kills against Northwestern State (8/24) in the season opener… Passed the 50-assist plateau for the first time in KU[apos]s win against RV Tulsa (8/31), recording 57 assists and eight digs… Posted her first career double-double with 49 assists and 11 digs to help Kansas defeat Arizona State (9/7)… Set her career-high 67 assists in a win versus RV Creighton (9/19), marking the second-most by a Big 12 setter in a match all season… Tallied her career-high in digs (22) and added 54 assists to power past RV Oklahoma (10/9)… Led KU past No. 14 Kansas State (10/17) with a double-double (49 assists/11 digs)… Was equally impressive on the road at No. 16 Kansas State (11/7) when she posted 49 assists, 11 digs and a career-high four blocks… Bested the Big 12 for assists in a three-set match by collecting 49 assists in the sweep of Oklahoma (11/14)… Turned in her 11th double-double of the year in the first round of the NCAA Tournament, dishing out 45 assists, 13 digs and three blocks to defeat Cleveland State (11/30).
2011: Sophomore Season
Appeared in 22 matches as a setter for the Jayhawks… Finished the season with 120 assists, 42 digs and seven kills… Was a perfect 3-for-3 in kills to add to five digs against No. 6 Minnesota… In the same tournament (UNI Invitational), she posted a career-high 24 assists against St. Louis (9/10)… Had five digs against San Diego State (9/16)… Recorded her career-high seven digs twice, in a match against Valparaiso (9/17) and at Baylor (10/1).
2010: Freshman Season
Trained under setters Nicole Tate and Kara Wehrs… Saw action in five sets throughout the year and tallied nine assists for a 1.80 aps average.
High School
Named district setter of the year in 2009 after guiding Plano West High School to its second-straight bi-district championship… Also a team captain and named team MVP in her senior year… Helped the Wolves to the regional quarterfinals in 2008 after the team went a perfect 10-0 in district play.
