Spring 2021: 

  • Tallied a total of seven singles victories, putting together a five-match win streak from Feb. 21 – Mar. 12 at the No. 6 position
  • Competed mostly on court two with doubles partner Malkia Ngounoue and posted nine wins, spent time on court three with Tiffany Lagarde as well
  • Singles victories: Wichita State twice, #24 Oklahoma twice, Iowa State, SEMO, #49 TCU and Kansas State
  • Doubles wins: Tulsa, Wichita State, Arizona, Iowa State, SEMO, West Virginia, Kansas State, #10 Baylor and #24 Oklahoma
  • 2021 Academic All-Big 12 First Team, including 4.0 GPA in sport management studies, garnered honor for first time in career
  • Helped team set a new GPA program best of 3.64

Spring 2020: 

  • Registered a 1-0 record in singles in the No. 6 position and a 3-4 record in doubles at the No. 2 (2-0) and No. 3 (1-4) positions
  • Picked up a victory in singles against Diae El Jardi (Rice) in three sets
  • Registered a win in doubles with Maria Toran Ribes against California and wins with Malkia Ngounoue against Illinois and Northwestern

Fall 2018:

  • Participated in five events; Big 5 Challenge, H-E-B Invitational, ITA Regional Championships, Marliss Gruver Fall Invitational, Arizona State Thunderbird Invitational

High School:

  • Ranked a five-star recruit by TennisRecruiting.net
  • No. 1-ranked player in the Southern California Girls 18s Doubles and claimed the No. 17 spot nationally
  • Received a bronze ball in doubles at both the United States Tennis Association (USTA) National Clay Courts Championships and the USTA National Hard Courts Championships

Women's Tennis Julia Deming Named to 2022 All-SoCal Team

This week the USTA Southern California has announced its “All-SoCal College Team” for 2022 to celebrate the accomplished collegiate tennis players who’ve emerged from the Section and its array of junior programming. The players were selected based on their competitive success, academic accomplishments, and their reflection of sportsmanship.
