2012 (Jr.): Started at corner in all 12 games… Registered a career best 58 tackles on the season, along with four TFLs, a sack and eight pass breakups… Tied for 10th in the Big 12 with three interceptions… Collected first interception and also recorded five tackles and a pass breakup against South Dakota State… Made six stops in back-to-back games against Rice and TCU… Scored first career touchdown on a 54-yard interception return against the Northern Illinois and seven tackles at NIU… Collected four tackles and two pass breakups against Oklahoma State… Registered five tackles, including four solos, versus Texas… Made a career-high eight tackles, including a TFL, at Texas Tech… Matched it with eight solo stops at West Virginia, including two TFLs and first sack since his freshman year.

2011 (So.): Played in 11 games, including seven starts at cornerback … Ranked second on team with four pass breakups … Recorded two tackles and two pass breakups against McNeese State … Collected four solo tackles at Oklahoma State … Also added a pass breakup at OSU … Matched career high with seven tackles against Oklahoma … Added a quarterback hurry against the Sooners … Made six stops at Texas, including his first tackle behind the line of scrimmage this year … Added a quarterback hurry against the Longhorns … Matched a season high with seven solo tackles at Iowa State … Made three solo tackles against Baylor … Recorded third career interception, while tallying four tackles (two solo) and a pass break-up against Missouri.

2010 (RFr.): Earned Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors… Named KU defensive player of the week vs. Texas A&M and Colorado… Was the starting nickel back and started nine games on the year… Registered 45 tackles on the year… Led the team with 10 pass break ups and tied for the team lead with two interceptions… His 1.0 passes defended per game tied for 23rd in the NCAA… His 5.5 tackles for loss tied for second on the team… Had one sack against Texas A&M… Recovered a fumble against Colorado which he returned 28 yards for a touchdown… Against Colorado he had five tackles, one interception, one recovered fumble returned for a score and three passes broken up… The following week he had an interception and two passes broken up at Nebraska… Had a four-game stretch beginning at Iowa State with at least two PBUs… Best tackle game was seven vs. Oklahoma State.

2009 (Fr.): Redshirted his first year at KU.

High School: A two-year letterwinner at Vista Ridge HS… Played cornerback and wide receiver… Earned all-district first team honors as a junior and a senior… As a senior he recorded 37 tackles, two pass breakups and two interceptions… On offense he had seven receptions for 113 yards and two scores… Blocked one punt and two field goals… As a junior he had 45 tackles, one interception, 11 passes broken up and forced one fumble… Also ran track and was a state qualifier… Earned academic all-district honors.

Personal: Son of Shaun and Todd Patmon… Has one brother and two sisters… Father played football at Central Oklahoma, while both grandfathers played college football (one at Oklahoma and one at Oklahoma State)… Two uncles also played football at Oklahoma… Major is pre-business… Would like to play in the NFL or run the family insurance business.
