Cool weather alters Big 12 Double Dual Schedule

LAWRENCE, Kan. – With extremely cool morning temperatures expected on Saturday, Kansas rowing has altered the schedule for the Big 12 Double Dual on April 7 against Alabama and Tennessee.
 
The Jayhawks will push back the start of the regatta three hours and launch the first event at 12 p.m. with each race following every 10 minutes. The First Varsity Eight will hit the water to open the Big 12 Double Dual followed by the Second Varsity Eight, First Varsity Four, Second Varsity Four and conclude the competition with the Third Varsity Eight.
 
Kansas will compete against Alabama in the first half of the second annual Big 12 Double Dual and end the day against Tennessee.

First Varsity Eight

Up Next
The Jayhawks will hit the road for the Knecht Cup April 14-15 in Windsor, New Jersey, to compete against schools from around the country. In 2016, KU brought home three medals from the Knecht Cup.
