Kansas Softball’s Game at Wichita State Rescheduled

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Due to forecasted rain in South Central Kansas, Jayhawk softball and Wichita State have rescheduled their midweek game at the Shockers’ Howard Wilkins Softball Complex.
 
The game was originally slated for Wednesday night at 6 p.m., but the Jayhawks and Shockers will now meet on the diamond next Wednesday, April 2 at 6 p.m. in Wichita.
 
Kansas will turn its focus to the opening of Big 12 action this weekend, hosting Oklahoma State for a three-game series March 28-30 at Arrocha Ballpark. The series begins Friday at 5 p.m., with Kansas Athletics encouraging fans to Bring a Kid to the Ballpark by offering one free youth general admission ticket for every one adult general admission ticket purchased. Friday night also marks Faculty and Staff Appreciation Night, allowing free admission to anyone with a valid state employee ID.
