Kansas to Play Doubleheader at Iowa State Saturday

AMES, Iowa – Due to predicted inclement weather expected in the Ames area on Sunday, Kansas and Iowa State have decided to play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 9, in order to conclude the series before the poor weather conditions move into Central Iowa.
The first game of the doubleheader at the Cyclone Sports Complex will start at noon, which was the original start time for Saturday’s contest, and the second game will begin 30 minutes following the conclusion of game one. Both games will air on Cyclone.TV and the Jayhawk Radio Network.
The selection show for the 2015 NCAA Softball Tournament is Sunday, May 10 at 9 p.m. CT on ESPNU. The field of 64 teams that will continue on into the postseason will be announced.
