Second annual alumni meet scheduled

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Kansas swimming and diving announced the date and time of its second annual alumni meet, which is set for Oct. 25 at 4 p.m. in Robinson Natatorium. KU alums will return to compete against the team’s current swimmers and divers.

"One of our highlights each year is our alumni meet. We look forward to reconnecting with former Jayhawk swimmers and divers for a fun meet. It’s a great way for our current student-athletes to learn more about the history of our program."

Head Coach Clark Campbell

The meet will consist of two relay races that only alumni will be competing in – the 200-yard medley relay and the 200-yard freestyle relay – as well as six individual races that the current swimmers will also compete in.

In addition, one-meter diving will be mixed into the events throughout the course of the meet in two-dive intervals.

The meet is scheduled to take place following the Kansas Double Dual, where the Jayhawks will face off against Missouri State and South Dakota, and before the team travels to Fort Collins, Colorado where the Jayhawks will be taking on Colorado State on Oct. 26.
