Single game tickets on sale for Kansas women’s basketball

LAWRENCE, Kan. – Single game tickets for the 2018-19 Kansas women’s basketball season are now available for purchase. Ticket prices range from $8-$15, depending on the game and reserved seat location inside Allen Fieldhouse.

The first of two exhibition games for the Jayhawks to start the 2018-19 season comes just a few short days before Halloween. Allen Fieldhouse will be full of tricks and treats as Kansas hosts Fort Hays State on Sunday, Oct. 28 at 2 p.m. We invite all youth in attendance to join us for a costume parade during halftime. 

When Kansas hosts Oral Roberts on Tuesday, Nov. 13, just a couple days after Veteran’s Day, the Jayhawks will honor all those that have served in the military at their annual Salute to Service game.
 
The Jayhawks will celebrate their loyal fan base with their annual fandemonium game when Kansas welcomes in-state rival Kansas State to Allen Fieldhouse for the Dillons Sunflower Showdown on Feb. 6. KU will give away prizes throughout the game in appreciation for the best basketball fans in the nation.

Superhero Day, a game that has become a fan, player and coach favorite over the years will be held on Feb. 9, when the Jayhawks host Texas. Children are encouraged to attend the game dressed up as their favorite superheroes.

On Feb. 17, KU will host its annual ‘Jayhawks for a Cure’ game, helping to raise awareness for cancers that effect so many people in the community. Additionally, the Jayhawks will raise money that will be donated to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Breast Center and the KU Cancer Center.

Prior to the final contest inside Allen Fieldhouse of the season, Kansas will honor the accolades, achievements and careers of its seniors on Senior Day. This year, the Jayhawks will recognize seven seniors that have left their mark on the program.

Also now available are group experiences prior to tipoff of women’s basketball games inside Allen Fieldhouse. Among the experiences are high five tunnel, team of the game and a facility tour. Season tickets are also on sale for $109 for a full season of women’s basketball action in Allen Fieldhouse. Senior Citizen Reserved season tickets can be purchased for $80, while K Club Reserved season tickets are available at $75.

New for the 2018-19 season, Kansas Athletics is introducing the Rock Chalk Card, which includes general admission to all home women’s basketball, softball and baseball games for $175. The Rock Chalk Card and a women’s basketball reserved seat upgrade can be purchased for $225.
 
When combined with Junior Jayhawks kids club membership for youth ages 13 and younger which provides free admission to women’s basketball, softball and baseball games, the Rock Chalk Card is an affordable option for the entire family to enjoy Kansas Athletics events all year.
