Host of activities planned for Senior Night at Rock Chalk Park

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The final regular-season match of KU soccer’s 2016 season is sure to be an eventful one with several promotions scheduled when the Jayhawks host Iowa State Friday, Oct. 28 at Rock Chalk Park. Gates are set to open at 6 p.m., with the match scheduled for a 7 p.m., kickoff.
 
“Kick or Treat”

  • All kids (13 and under) dressed in Halloween costumes will be admitted for just $3.
  • Costumed kids are invited on the field after the match to trick or treat with the Kansas players. Those wishing to take part should meet at the promotions table after the match.

 
Jayhawk Mask Giveaway

  • At the entrance fans will receive a Jayhawk mask, just in time for Halloween! Supplies are limited so arrive early.

 
Senior Celebration

  • Help the Jayhawk soccer team celebrate the seven members of the senior class. The farewell ceremony will be held after the match.

 
Kansas (9-4-4) is looking to wrap up a second-place finish in Big 12 play when it hosts Iowa State (10-6-1) Friday. A win would clinch the Jayhawks a No. 2 seed in next week’s Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, the program’s highest seed in the postseason tournament since 2004.
