Our student-athletes are dedicated to upholding our Jayhawk traditions and continuing our legacy through Cheer, Dance and Mascot magic.  We are so thankful to Kansas Athletics for providing all our teams with a foundational budget ensuring support of our student-athletes as we cheer on our Jayhawks.  With your additional donations, we will continue to build on storied excellence, grow our trademark pride, and make every day a great day for future Jayhawks as well.

Cheer goals for donations:

The Cheerleading Program is made up of the Coed and All-Girl teams. While Coed has been a staple of Kansas Athletics since 1899, the All-Girl team was added in 2020 which significantly increased the need for additional uniforms.  We are so excited to grow our program!

Our student-athletes not only represent our University at all sporting games, but also at community outreach and fundraising events.  Our Jayhawk Nation is always our first priority.  As our sport is also close to our hearts, we strive to represent KU every year competitively at the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) College Nationals Competition.  

You can help us make our Nationals quest come true by donating to specific costs associated with national competition:

Rock Chalk Dance goals for donations:

The Rock Chalk Dance team (formerly Crimson Girls) is made up of 22-25 outstanding dancers from across the nation. With your support, we would love to provide our team with updated uniforms for game day and styled routines (pom, hip-hop, jazz, etc).  

In addition to maintaining a professional appearance, each year RCD attends camp to learn new material to feature throughout the season and hopefully bring to a national competition.  These costs have increased over the years and any additional support towards these events would be greatly appreciated.

Camp and Nationals costs include the following:

Mascot goals for donations:

The Mascot Team at KU consists of our beloved Big Jay and Baby Jay. Big and Baby Jay attend over 200+ sporting events and appearances from wedding to wakes, birthday parties to grand openings throughout the year.  All the appearances put a lot of miles on our boots, and we sure could use some extra funds for uniform maintenance/replacement.  We ALWAYS want to look our BEST on and off the field!

For the first time in several years, we made a run for nationals in 2022.  While we did not qualify in the Top 10 with our Baby Jay submission this year, we definitely made our presence known.  We expect to join this event in years to come and gain momentum!  Please consider a donation to our team so we can continue bringing joy to appearances across Kansas and Missouri.
