The Kansas men’s and women’s track and field teams celebrated 22 seniors at the Rock Chalk Classic at Rock Chalk Park on Saturday, which marked the final home meet of the 2021-22 season for the Jayhawks.

With the wind blowing out on Saturday afternoon, the West Virginia Mountaineers came out with a 10-7 win against the Kansas Jayhawks. Redshirt freshman first baseman Cooper McMurray had his first career multi-home run day and has homered in each of the last three games.

The Kansas Jayhawks fell 19-0 in five innings to the No. 1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners on Saturday afternoon in the second game of a three-game series at Arrocha Ballpark.

Victories in the first two races of the day propelled the Kansas Rowing team to a 15-7 victory over Kansas State on Saturday morning in the Dillons Sunflower Showdown. The race was held on the Kansas River at Burcham Park in Lawrence.

Daniel Hegarty threw his second complete game in the last three weekends to lead the Kansas Jayhawks to a 7-3 victory against the West Virginia Mountaineers on Friday afternoon at Hoglund Ballpark. Both of Hegarty’s complete games have come in conference matchups.

The Kansas Jayhawks fell to the No. 1 ranked Oklahoma Sooners 7-0 on Friday afternoon at Arrocha Ballpark.

Kansas Women’s Basketball had a record-setting season in 2021-22 under the leadership of Big 12 Coach of the Year Brandon Schneider. The Jayhawks finished with an overall record of 21-10 and placed fifth in the Big 12 with an 11-7 conference record. Kansas experienced its 22nd 20-win season in program history and first since 2012-13.

Kansas track & field will host its final home meet of the 2021-22 season on Saturday, as the Jayhawks celebrate senior day at the Rock Chalk Classic beginning at 9:30 a.m. CT at Rock Chalk Park.

The Kansas women’s golf team hosted its senior banquet Thursday evening in the at The Jayhawk Club, celebrating the 2021-22 season under first-year head coach Lindsay Kuhle.
