2005 (At TCU): Finished the season with a 2-0 record to go along with a 4.94 ERA … Combined on two shutouts, one as a starter and one as a reliever … Struck out 20 batters in 23.2 innings of work … Helped lead the Horned Frogs to a Mountain West Conference title.

High School: Lettered three times in baseball for head coach Brad Wallace … Earned All-District First Team honors in 2003 and 2004 well as All-State honors in 2004 … As a senior, he compiled a 4-4 record with a 1.51 ERA and struck out 121 batters in 66 innings … Tossed a one-hitter, striking out 17 during his senior year … Selected by the Seattle Mariners in the 26th round in the 2004 Amateur Baseball Draft.
