Summer 2009: Played for the Palm Springs Power of the Southern California Collegiate Baseball League … Batted .333 with three doubles, three triples and 27 runs scored in 27 games … Posted a .448 on-base percentage.

2009 (RS-Sophomore): Named All-Big 12 Second Team and to the NCAA Chapel Hill Region All-Tournament team … Batted .364 with 12 doubles, four triples, five homers and 55 runs scored in 62 games … Made 55 starts in the outfield … Drew 39 walks for a team-best .459 on-base percentage … Fourth on the team with 23 multi-hit games … Collected two hits against North Dakota (March 4) … Hit first home run of the season against Northwestern (March 7) in a pinch-hitting role … Hit safely in nine straight games (March 13-March 25) … Also had an 11-game hitting streak (April 1-April 17) … Recorded a career-high five hits at Iowa (April 7) … Went 3-for-5 with four RBIs, including a double and a home run against No. 17 Oklahoma State (April 11) … Collected three hits and three RBIs in series finale at Texas Tech (April 19) … Recorded three runs scored and three RBIs against Nebraska (April 26) … Homered at Wichita State and drove in three runs (May 6) … Also hit a three-run homer at Missouri (May 9), in KU[apos]s only win of the series … Hit safely in 14 of KU[apos]s final 16 games … Went 6-for-16 with a double, triple and three RBIs in four games at the NCAA Tournament.
