Summer 2008: Played for the San Diego Waves of the Western Baseball Association … Went 0-2 in nine appearances with 13 strikeouts in 14 innings … Teammate of current Jayhawks Buck Afenir and Brett Bochy.

2008 (Sophomore): Named to the Athletic Director[apos]s Honor Roll … Made 12 relief appearances … Surrendered just 11 hits over 12 1/3 innings and a 4.38 ERA … Allowed just a .147 batting average with men on base … Posted a 2.08 ERA in six appearances at home … Pitched 2 1/3 hitless innings with three strikeouts against Hawaii-Hilo (2/23) … Matched season high with three strikeouts against Ohio State (3/21) … Made six straight scoreless appearances from March 26 to April 26.
