Summer 2010: Played for the Wichita Wheat Kings of the Walter Johnson League.

Elwood Community HS: Played three years of baseball for head coach Adrien Heim … A three-time Central Indiana Conference team selection … Also tabbed all-area first team and all-state twice … Led state in stolen bases as a sophomore … Batted .488 as a senior with 30 RBIs and 42 stolen bases … Recorded a .425 career batting average with 137 career steals … Also lettered four times in football and basketball … A two-time all-state selection on the gridiron … Set the Panthers[apos] school record for rushing yards in a game as a sophomore … A three-time All-CIC in football and named once in football … A member of the National Honor Society, National Technical Honor Society and Scholars of Character.
