- Big 12 Pitcher of the Week after throwing a seven-inning, no-hitter against Kansas State (May 14), earning his sixth and final victory of the season
- The no-hitter was the first by a Jayhawks at Hoglund Ballpark, the first against a Big 12 foe and only the sixth individual no-hit performance in program history
